you can’t fully know your relationship with a substance (like caffeine or alcohol) until you remove it altogether. i quit coffee entirely 4 years ago and then reintroduced a bit here and there on occasion.

I always drink a warm cup of water with a squeeze of lemon and a pinch of sea salt when I first wake up and move around the first hour. Then I make my morning coffee that I’ve heard referred to as “loaded liquid”. It is really more like a mini meal in a cup of hot water.

It is organic of course, it has MTC powder, plant protein(Dr Axes Carmel Bone Broth powdered plant protein), *side note that Dr Axes protein is sweetened with stevia. I tested my blood sugar on it and my body was fine with it. I also add collagen, my homemade soy milk made with just organic soybeans and water, cinnamon and a sprinkle of sea salt.

And my body absolutely LOVES it! I’m not hungry till noon! And I get up at 6am. This coffee helps me maintain my everyday fasting of about 17 hours. It gives me energy and no crashes or feeling tired mid day. And it doesn’t dehydrate me either. Oh and even after my normal waking bowel movement, after coffee I have another one. My digestive system loves this coffee routine too.

And I just drink one 16oz cup a day.😉

Great idea. Noticing. Coffee as the medium. It might then awaken us to noticing more in our lives and tuning into our body. Thanks Mindy. Anita xx
